I have always had an affinity for small, local businesses. I was the child of parents who own one (still do), and grew up in a small rural town full of Mom and Pop stores, farmers markets, vendor fairs, etc. "Little Man" by Alan Jackson even used to be one of my favorite songs as a kid (go listen to it and you'll see why this bit of information is important)- anyhoo. I have created this space to bring light to all of these places- the hidden gems that all too often get outshone by the corporate empires. I want to make them known. I want them to be appreciated. I want our local economies to once again flourish. Let's bring back the little man.
